GEORGIA WELCOMES ACHIEVEMENTS OF AZERBAIJAN
On May 2, the General Prosecutor of Georgia, Zurab Adeishvili, met Azerbaijans Minister of Justice, Fikrat Mammadov.
 The Azerbaijani Minister talked of development of friendship relations and strategic partnership, including expansion of legal cooperation in the last period between Georgia and Azerbaijan. F. Mammadov also noted the importance of recent visit by Georgias Minister of Justice and the Cooperation Program signed between the two countries.
The visitor was informed on democratic reforms, modernization of court system on the basis of President Ilham Aliyevs instruction, improvement of the penitentiary system and other measures undertaken in Azerbaijan.
 Thanking for warm reception, the General Prosecutor said the Georgian people rejoice at the achievements of Azerbaijan, which is a reliable partner of Georgia. Z. Adeishvili stressed the importance of progressive reforms conduced in Azerbaijan in all fields, including the court system.
The sides exchanged views on further expansion of ties between the law-enforcement bodies, as well as the cooperation within the international organizations.
