AZERBAIJAN EXPANDS COOPERATION WITH LEGAL INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
The Republic of Azerbaijan effectively cooperates with the world authoritative organizations, including the International Prosecutors Association with the adviser status at the UN Economic and Social Council.
 The 12th annual conference of the International Prosecutors Association and meeting of the Executive Committee attended by 500 representatives from some 100-world countries was held recently in Hong Kong, administrative region of China.
Azerbaijan was represented by delegation led by Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov, who is member of the Executive Committee of Association.
At the Conference, discussed were relations of courts, prosecutors and police with mass media, status of participants of the legal proceedings and other actual questions, exchanged views on useful experience.
At the general meeting, elections were held to the Executive Committee. Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan Fikrat Mammadov was re-elected to the Committee.
In the frame of visit, the Azerbaijan delegation familiarized with the local courts activity, interested in advanced technology in judicial practice.
