JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS HEAD OF CoE Directorate GENERAL OF DEMOCRACY AND POLITICAL AFFAIRS
 Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov met in Baku on Wednesday with visiting Head of the Directorate General of Democracy and Political Affairs of the Council of Europe Ms. Claudia Luciani.
The Minister described existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and CoE as effective, and praised the Organization`s support for human rights reforms being carried out in the country.
 Ms. Claudia Luciani, in turn, said CoE attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan. She presented to the Minister CoE Secretary General`s newly appointed special envoy in Azerbaijan Ms. Veronica Kotek.
The talks also focused other issues of mutual interest.
